Player, Gary (Jim)
(n. 1 nov. 1935, Johannesburgo, Sudáfrica).

Golfista sudafricano. Entró en el circuito de la Profesional Golfers'Association (PGA) de EE.UU. en 1957. Ganó tres veces el Abierto Británico (1959, 1968 y 1974), tres veces el Masters (1961, 1974 y 1978), dos veces el Campeonato de la PGA (1962 y 1972) y una vez el Abierto de EE.UU. (1965). Fue el tercer jugador (después de Gene Saragen y Ben Hogan) que ganó los cuatro torneos que componen actualmente el Grand Slam del golf (el Masters, el Abierto de EE.UU., el Abierto Británico y el Campeonato de la PGA).
